When The End announced they’d be releasing Crossfaith’s Zion EP in America last year, I was disappointed to find out it was a digital only release. They’re making up for it now with a CD version on March 19. The physical release was made in conjunction with Crossfaith’s current US tour with Enter Shikari and will only be available at their merch table or online. Temporary Residence will release Mono’s newest album For My Parents in North America on September 4 (Japan release is August 22). The 5-track album is about traveling the world and giving your parents a hug and includes support from the The Wordless Music Orchestra. Hard rockers FACT will be spending the rest of the year and next touring the world in support of their latest albumBurundanga. This July and August, FACT will be touring America with bands like I Set My Friends On Fire and The Color Morale. UK and Europe tour dates for 2013 are not available at this time.

Envy will release their fifth album Recitation on September 22 in Japan and Europe. Temporary Residence will release the album on October 12 in America. Pre-orders for the US release will go up on September 1 on Temporary Residence’s website in CD and 2xLP format. The band will tour the US in September and October with Touche Amore, And So I Watch You From Afar, La Dispute, and Trash Talk to support the album. Tour dates are below.
Myspace Records have released Polysics’ latest album Absolute Polysics today, January 12, on CD with no prior warning. You can buy that at Amazon or Interpunk. They will also be on tour in America at the end of the month through February. This will be the band’s last tour with keyboardist Kayo. In case you missed the memo, ORESKABAND has been confirmed as the musical guests of honor at Wizard World Chicago 2008. The girls will hit the stage Friday night, June 27th at 7pm. Now I’ve been going to Wizard World Chicago for the past three years and I know for a fact that we’ve never had any Japanese musical guests! Of course they perform on Friday, when I can’t go. It’s confirmed, MUCC and D’espairsRay will play 46 unconfirmed dates on next year’s Taste of Chaos festival. Warcon Records released Dir en grey’sWithering to Death album after they played at Taste of Chaos. Does that mean these two bands will be seeing American releases as well? MUCC have already announced they’re new album will be seeing a March 2008 release in the U.S. and Europe. No further details are available. I’ve never listened to either of these two bands but it’s always exciting to see more Japanese bands touring in the states.
