J-Rock Fridays Vol. 17
April 2, 2010It’s Good Friday. Praise the Lord for J-rock.
Sekai no Owari- “War Rainbow”
OMG I can’t stop laughing. This is like showing up to your baby cousin’s birthday party wasted. Did they seriously think having their DJ wear a clown mask was a good idea? And yes, he does wear the mask live. The things I find at 3 in the morning…
Scars Borough- “Bed Spring Symphony”
Why do rocker chicks always look like dykes? Kyoko looks scary as hell in this video, but still a solid rock song. Their first album Feel the Stroke is finally coming out next week.
Live Clean Stay Young- “Nagaremon”
Only awesome bands animate themselves.
Her Name In Blood- “Decadence”
Johnny Cupcakes bakes on the first date? Okaaaaay. This video manages to pull off every cliche of the hardcore scene to comedic effect. I expect these guys will make a splash overseas very soon.
Ajisai- “Sparkler”
Here’s your slow jam for the week. This song is just begging to be in a J-drama. And the band named themselves after a flower so there you go.
Nubo- “Easy Come, Easy Go”
Is there no truer saying in this world? My tax return is half gone and I still haven’t been to Romey-Rome!
———————————————————————————————————————————————————————————–
Short week. Neaux already covered everything else I saved on YouTube, and probably better, so see you next time!

Yeahhh! Sekai no Owari~~~! They’ve got a new album out soon too!!
Sparkler is indeed the perfect song for a some drama or emotional anime or something. Decadence was also hilarious!
