dustbox

September 17, 2007

Last night I rediscovered a fun little pop-punk band name dustbox.  They are musically very similar to Ellegarden (their singer even has the same Tom Delonge accent at times).  Lyrics are in full English although slurred to the point where you can’t really understand them most of the time.  Other comparisons- Northern 19, Pop Disaster, stack44.  If you’re not familiar with Japanese punk bands they also kind of sound like a mixture of Lagwagon and Me First and Gimmie Gimmies.  This year dustbox released their lateset album Seeds of Rainbow.  The following video is for their first single, “Tomorrow.”

where’d you go I miss you so

September 12, 2007

Sorry I haven’t been posting much lately.  Still trying to figure out how to effectively get schoolwork done in-between my hell of a commute and work.  Both my internet browsers at home are having major problems as well and I don’t always have time to check out the library at school.  On the other hand I just noticed this is my 100 post!  I didn’t think I’d last this long.  I don’t really have anything else to share so new song in the BOX player, “World Has Collided” by The Lovesong.  I’ll try to post some actual news tomorrow morning.
