International music star Yoshiki made his network TV debut last night at the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards. You can see him hand Mychael Danna his award for the Life of Pi score halfway through the video. Speaking of scores, Yoshiki composed the musical theme of this year’s show. Jrock Revolution will be releasing the soundtrack for Catacombs in the US through EXTASY Records. Yoshiki, former X JAPAN drummer and pianist, has announced Jrock Revolution, or as I like to call it, “visual kei a-thon” on his myspace page. This 2 day festival will occur in LA May 25 & 26 and includes the likes of alice nine, Vidoll, DuelJewel, Kagrra, Miyavi, Déspairs Ray, Merry, girugamesh, and MUCC.
