I’m kind of surprised how hard hit I was by Jun Seba’s death, but I still managed to check out a few new videos for you guys.

Northern19- “Smile For Peace”

Northern19 is back with another feel good punk-rock anthem.  Hits the spot with this warm weather we’ve been having.

cali≠gari- “Mannequin”

I thought I sworn off visual-kei on this blog.  But how can I not post a video as ludicrous as this?  Shake them mannequin tittays!

HONDALADY- “Freestyler”

Let’s keep the lols rolling.  Fast forward to 3: 38 to see the singer shoot flower petals out of his ass. This actually has a nice beat, and the random harmonica in the middle adds a nice touch.

mudy on the 昨晩- “moody pavilion”

I kind of forgot mudy on the sakuban released a new album, but here’s the second single for it. This is kind of a creepy video. I can’t tell if that guy in the middle is doing a handstand or hanging from the ceiling.

Guitar Panda- “Panda Guitar”

I guess the only way to get kids to listen to good old fashioned rock music is to dress up in a panda suit.  Carry on good sir.

HiGE- “Tequila! Tequila!”

So the only thing I found when I googled this band was a ton of Wolf’s Rain fanart.  But apparently they’ve been around long enough to have a best of album coming out and “Tequila! Tequila!” is their new song.  Nice, upbeat tune.

bloodthirsty butchers- “ocean”

Boy does this video put the “stop” in stop motion.  But it does tell a surprisingly heartwarming story, which is more than I can say for most of the PVs I’ve seen lately.

RIFFNONEON- “アオイウタ”

RIFFNONEON’s first video is simple, but promises great things to come.

I’d like to finish this with Shing02’s tribute to Nujabes.  I’m still puzzled how this news only popped up nearly a month after his death.  From what I’ve read, many of his close friends didn’t even know until yesterday.  Well, that’s Nujabes for you, an enigma even in death.  Rest in beats.
