If you didn’t already know, sleepy.ab makes pretty music.  Stupid kaleidoscope effect makes prettiness infinite!

butter butter- “Follower”

hare-brained unity- “Vision”

The guy with the headphones could not look more bored.  This is AWAKE DISCO MUSIK fool!

√thumm – “harukami”

Root Thumm used to make awake disco musik, but now they’re frolicking in their kimonos on a grassy knoll.  At least the thumm bunny is amusing.

High Speed Boyz- “△”

The boyz haven’t even released their first album yet and they already sold out.  I miss my disco musik.  The video is composed of clips from the movie Real Onigokko 2, which is apparently about a man getting chased by dudes in skull masks. Count me in.

LITE- “Image Game”

Sometimes I think LITE just throws in random instruments and disco musik to cover their declining originality.  Still a beast of a track.

tokimeki ☆ jambo jambo-“Maburunaitsu!”

Someone really wants to be on the next Silent Ballet compilation!

LOST- “New Game”

Every once in a while I’ll come across a band so Americanized it’s hard to believe I can’t stroll into Super Target and pick up their CD in the buzz artist section.  I guess that should come as no surprise as they had a lot of American help on this album.  Now I want to see this on the shelf next to the new Underoath album by the end of the year.

Rotten Graffty- “This World”

There’s something about nu metal in a tunnel that always brings me back to Linkin Park.  I bet Linkin Park wouldn’t burn their suits.

the HIATUS- “The Ivy”

Never mind the fact that this sounds nothing like their old material.  This is a really angry song and I’ve grown fond of the noisiness.  What I can’t look past is the burning crosses and bleeding Virgin Marys.  It wasn’t cool when Madonna did it in the 80s and it’s downright disgraceful to see this coming out of Buddhist nation today.  What does deriding Catholicism even have to do with the lyrics?  Not a damn thing.  What the hell Takeshi Hosomi.
